Welcome to Rick Dobney Woodturning!

Rick's workshop is at a residential property in Wingerworth near Chesterfield. Full directions will be supplied with course bookings.

There is ample off road car parking space, please park tidily on arrival.

Clothing suited to the weather however strong full length trousers and stout footwear are mandatory for your personal safety. Woodturning smocks are provided as is all necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

We accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or cash. Payment is in full in advance of the training day, an invoice will be provided to request the payment.

The Introduction and Taster courses are designed for those with no prior experience. 

The Foundation and Improvers courses are intended for those with some previous experience or those who have completed the Introduction or Taster courses.

As the workshop is located at a residential property, please call me to discuss your requirements. 

Refreshments are provided throughout the training course. For full day courses a light lunch will be provided, please ensure you advise any particular dietary requirements or dislikes at least 1 week ahead of your training day.
